Guala — Operational & Privacy Notice

Guala is a research and development system for deterministic physical sensory processing, embodiment, persistent experience, and autonomous action. It is not presented as a chatbot, a finished intelligence, a human-equivalent entity, or a source of professional advice.

Optional browser camera and microphone capture

The Guala page offers separate controls for optional camera and microphone capture. Capture begins only after you use a control and grant the browser permission. You can deny or revoke that permission. While enabled, raw camera frames and microphone samples are sent to the Guala service for physical sensory processing.

Do not capture another person or private surroundings unless you have permission to do so. Closing the page, turning a control off, or revoking browser permission stops that browser capture; it does not remove persistent substrate state already formed from earlier input.

Physical processing and observation

The live Guala page supplies physical sight and sound input. Loom Scan is a read-only observation surface. Neither surface is a private file-storage service. Sound motifs, structural fields, displayed receipts, and physical articulatory output do not by themselves establish recognized words, transcripts, labels, meaning, understanding, or cognition.

Persistent learned and embodied state

Sensory input and embodied activity can change long-lived learned sensory, causal, and embodied state. The service therefore does not promise that experience-derived state disappears when a capture session ends. Persistence is bounded by configured storage ceilings, bounded generations, and operational retention controls. No specific retention duration or immediate deletion is promised by this notice.

Authentication and public surfaces

Administrative and protected embodiment actions require authentication. The public observation page and browser sensory paths are separate operational surfaces. Do not use them to submit secrets or material that requires confidential storage.

Availability and limitations

The system is under active development. Physical observations, learned state, and actions may be unavailable, incomplete, or wrong. Service availability, security, successful learning, word recognition, meaning, cognition, and any particular behavior are not guaranteed.
